Clay Army

The figurines stand at around 3.5 inches. The creation of the army began in a time where I finished a body of work and was looking to transition to the next. For now the production of members to the army has halted as i have begun to continue progress on my larger scale pieces. The main unit is comprised of a staggering 45 members ranges from white porcelain to terra cotta. There is another unit called dark company that is made up of clay darker clay bodies that don’t fit into the orange to white range of the army. I might make another post about dark company far into the future.

if there is some interest in the army members, i can do a step by step post or make a video on how they are made. I when the current period of work i am making comes to a close i will mostly likely add some reinforcements to the army. I can document the process then.
